For what it's worth, I enjoy watching Karlsson play. So talented. Seems to me the Sens have some decisions to make midseason. Their forwards are largely aging and could be valuable to some top teams.

Do you tweak, rebuild, or play through in Ottawa right now? Idk, it's a tough call. I'm just glad we won tonight b/c Ottawa was so tough against us last year.

It's only a matter of time before changes are made to the Sens. They continue to be the laziest, underachieving team in the league.

Karlsson is probably my favorite player on the Sens. His skating and stick handling are just incredible. He's the type of guy you build a team around really.

And I agree they have some decisions to make. Kovalev, Kuba and Gonchar all have to go as far as I'm concerned but all 3 are pretty expensive. My feeling is that Murray's going to get the axe either mid-season or over the summer. He's just made too many poor decisions to stick around.

As for approach to rebuild? The Sens already have Karlsson there and Jared Cowen on the way. Plus David Rundblad has the most points as a defensemen in the SEL. The blue line looks good moving forward. So I think you tweak it a bit. Unload some of these older players and try to put some UFA forwards in place until the team starts drafting and developing them.
