I still feel like this game will come down to the wire. The Caps started feeling it a bit towards the end of that period.

Pretty cliche, but the next goal is going to be huge. Even more so then normal.

I really don't want to be a stick-in-the-mud downer, but the way things have been going, that next goal will be by the Sens in the first 2 minutes of the second period.

I hope so...lol

But I also have a feeling the Sens might sit back like they have been doing all year when they get any kind of lead.

Are the Caps keeping Gabby around for the Winter Classic only to fire him after that game?

I thought I would be one of the lasts calling for his firing, but hell, even I am now

I know what you mean. I don't want to want him gone, but whatever he's doing isn't working. And by "whatever", of course I mean saying "fuck" 47 times per sentence.

My feeling is that Boudreau isn't going to get fired any time soon but he eventually will if the team doesn't turn this thing around.

He needs to start doing things differently. Start mixing things up and making the players get their minds off the streak. Otherwise he will find himself getting the axe at some point.

That was all Gonchar's fault.

What a waste of 5.5 million dollars...

Told you guys. The Sens have far too many floaters and are prone to stupid mistakes. Plus they have a goalie who couldn't stop a beach ball right now.

I knew this would happen. Maybe not the way it has but...

Put it on for the Cameras in my mind

Maybe, but it seemed like a pretty natural part of his speech. He's known to be a pretty salty speeker. I have no problem with it, btw, just fun to poke fun at. I know I can get rolling with the f-bombs in certain situations, so I can't condemn him for it.

His language didn't seem to equal his voice. He didn't sound as mad as his words would have made it seem like, if you know what I mean
