Stick Length question

What length do you cut your sticks to?

I've always been in the "nose in shoes, chin on skates" club


but this makes SOOOOO much sense - found it when verifying i was cutting lil Bizz's stick right

and even in my avatar, I can see that with the blade flat, there are a few inches of stick hanging out behind my left glove that are visible, and lil bizz is toe up.

I chopped 3+inches off his last night

I go by just under the chin, but sans skates Biz...

I always went more-or-less by the method shown in picture 8 of the link.

Cut the stick a little long to start with and tell them to hold it how they feel comfortable for an entire practice. Pay close attention to where the top hand is and cut accordingly.

Always cut long the first time though so that you don't have to buy a new stick.

My being able to go back forever, it was always, when standing in your skates, cut the stick at your chin.
