Looks like SJ isn't coming back. Latest reports having him deciding between the Patriots and the Chargers
I think he would be a good fit here.

Dude never had a chance with Kaepernick at QB here. Good luck to him.
Hmmm. Imagine what he could have done with a competent quarterback throwing to him. What are you talking about. He actually was catching on well. As a 3rd WR, he had a 100 yard game early in the season and was poised for a good season until he injured his knee.
Torrey, Boldin, Ellington, Patton, Simpson, drafted WR is more than enough. I dont see us keeping more than 6 WRs.

Or perhaps if he could read a defense, throw accurately or overcome his abject fear of the middle of the field inside the 20s.Nothing. He was hurt. He was off to a good start. Maybe if the WRs on the roster could have gotten some separation from DBs, the QB might have done a bit better

It is exactly why. Kaepernick could only throw to the outside and Crabtree was his first read out there. It is also the reason for the demise of Vernon Davis who works the middle of the field where Kaeprnick cannot find him or will not throw it because he has no ability to read what a defense is doing in there..Is that why Crabtree had over 1,000 yards receiving in 2012?

What nonsense. In 2013, Vernon Davis was among the top tight ends in football with Kaepernick at QB. Davis played through injuries in 2014 and both his receiving and blocking performance fell sharply. Anyone who watches the games could see that
I disagree. I think it is more hooey than nonsense. Although, Davis is just a ghost of his former self...What nonsense. LOL! Nice try. We have a good shot at competing in the division but not with kaepernick; at least not the Kaepernick we've seen during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
