I dont know about you guys but I will be watching SJ39 this season with hope that he does well. He has a chance now playing on a team that should make the playoffs. Atlanta's offense with SJ39 is now well balanced with the receiving and new power run game. Not sure is they have enough to win it all, but it should be interesting to watch. Lets just hope they play terrible in week 2.

I'll root for Steven Jackson but when the Rams and Falcons meet during the season, no way... I'll want our defense to crush him... And should the Rams and Falcons meet in the playoffs, I'd want the Rams D to smash him. I love Steven Jackson but I love the Rams more.

IMO, SJ Is gonna run for more TD's this year for ATL than he has in the past two or three years in St. Louis. Double digit scores for the first time since 06. The Rams offense will suffer dramatically without him.

I will be watching S Jax. He was one of the most dedicated players Ram history. Like all of you said though, no way in week 2. I have the NFL Sunday ticket, so I will watch a lot of Falcon games.

I think we'll be fine. We play against Lynch and Gore all of the time and they are probably as good or better than him at this stage of their career.

Now if this was Steven Jackson from 5 years ago...then yeah, thats scary.

I wish him well but i'm not worried about the Rams facing him. He started to look his age last year. He didn't have that burst that used to get him additional yards. I think he would have been better suited to the pass-blocking second-fiddle role in Green Bay. That said, and given the choice, i'd probably prefer living in Atlanta.

SJ39 is in one of my favorite players of all-time because of his loyalty and dedication to both the Rams and the game of football. I'll root for him wherever he goes.
