On the 11th anniversary of the murder of Steve McNair, I find it amazing that we never had a single thread on tHoop dedicated to this guy. How is that even possible?

As a TN transplant I must say that I thought a lot of Steve McNair.
A pillar of the community.

That is, until I found out about his cheating lifestyle.
Not too much air in his balls cheating, but being married and having long drawn out extramarital affairs kind of cheating.
With girls almost half his age.
Not a good example of a father figure for his two boys.

Remember the season Christian McCaffery had in '15? The dumbass talking heads in the media tried to make big deal of McC breaking Barry's '88 total yards mark of 2,828. McC had 2,833 in 14 games. Damn good season. But still doesn't touch what Barry did.

What is the percentage of NFL players that DON'T cheat? I would say that it is less than 40% and most of them are backups.

How would anybody know?
Do a survey? How do you know the respondents are being honest.

Lying, cheating and stealing. All signs you are not a good person.
Even if 60% of your counterparts are doing it, be a bigger man and do the right thing.

Seriously, athletes who cheat is about 243rd on the list of reasons to not like them. He was just dumb enough to cheat with a girl with serious mental issues.

Adrian Peterson's "discipline" of his son (and his subsequent blaming of everyone but himself) offended me way more than McNair being a dog.
