I had a debate earlier in the week about Rogers being active for this game. His argument was he wasn't any better than Switzer so why bother...my argument was he's not in lieu of Switer....in addition to...they hadn't gotten much out of Washington prior to this game and we knew NE would double AB and Juju.

Anway...he was 4 for 4 not much out of it but a couple were 1st dwns iirc....was a factor in the game as was Switzer.

Said it after last year... It's scary how quickly Watt was able to pickup the position at this level after only 1 or 2 years of playing it in college. That is very rare, and should frighten the hell outta opposing teams. Just wait til he reaches his peak years!

After watching the Saints for the last two weeks, looks as if they have a few weaknesses we could exploit.....

So we could have a shot......if, and that's a big IF the coaching staff can game plan the shit right!!!!

If the Steelers can bottle up their run game and keep the pressure up for 4 quarters then the Saints are very beatable. Big IF though. Saints D is decent but the Steelers offense shouldn't have much trouble with it. Now that Ben has a few more weapons to work with, and possibly getting Conner back, I think Fichtner's playbook opened up quite a bit.

We'll see!

If Fich has half a friggin brain, draw up a GP with two backs and just let Ridley and Conner run wild.....
Fuck this chuck and duck shit.....if Ridley and Conner do damage, which if followed thru.....the opportunities to kill them deep will open up.

Agreed. Something that Fich failed to do against NE. Force the opposing defense to stop the run. Fich instead stopped the run on his own by passing too damn much.
