Mistake #1 for steelers was firing Bruce Arians and hiring Todd Haley. Haley is not working out for them at all.

Issue #1 is that they are decimated by injuries and have let good players walk. This is a front office issue, not a Tomlin issue.

Those people calling for Tomlin's head are classic fairweather fan material. I agree, Haley's offense just isn't working. And we don't have enough talent at WR to perform the routes he wanted last night.

Tomlins talent is getting weaker, drafts not all that solid.
Tomlin hires a guy like Haley instead of a guy like Gruden.

However, if we can have Tomlin for in-game decisions, I would be okay with that.

I really wish Marvin would accept a GM position, and I really wish Mike Brown would accept that.

Hire Jay Gruden as HC. (just so much more personable, great interviews, good leader)

Try to keep Mike Zimmer as long as possible as DC.

Hire Hue Jackson as OC.

Tomlin won't be fired. Not happening.

Haley, on the other hand, should be fired, and now. The offense is so much better when Ben can just run hurry-up and go up-tempo and call his own plays. It's clear that Haley's offense is a poor, poor fit for this team. His unwillingness to bend and blend a mix of his offense with the strenghts of the team behind Ben is what is killing the offense, or at least killing it as much as injuries and lack of talent to surround Ben with.
