Oh. This thread is about players being drafted. I thought maybe Cam showed up in the Music Hall and made off with a couple of laptops.

Hate to burst your bubble, but not much of a chance he makes the team.

With Hester being relegated to returns only....I could see him getting a roster spot.

Bears are thin at WR behind Marshall.

Ya a 7th rounder who signs a 4 year contract with a signing bonus has no chance of making the team?

Prediction is Wilson will lead the team in receiving touchdowns and Cutler will have a breakout season.

I think the biggest steal is going to be Lacy heading to the Packers. The guy is gonna need time to heal up, but once healthy the Pack will have a bull that can keep the chains moving and the passing game will be better cause Rogers wont have to chuck it every play.....

Ryan Swope to the Cardinals in the 6th was a steal as well.

If lattimore comes back from injury with the same capabilities, he will be the steal of the draft

NC State built their offense around Glennon and after all the big talk, he did pretty much nothing but disappoint. Sucked in the Tennessee game.

Sorry, but Glennon does not impress me.

I would agree with that if they could manage to give him more than 0.5 seconds to throw the ball before a DL has a hand on his jersey. I've always been a huge Cutler fan& think he's severely underrated, but I think he's screwed from the get go with that OL. And I'm not sure one rookie OL is going to fix that.

Ryan Swope to the Cardinals in the 6th was a steal as well.

Agreed. I'm just glad he wasn't drafted by the Packers or Patriots because I think he would've been a pain in the ass in those offenses. I would've preferred he wasn't drafted by the Cardinals (NFC West), but they need someone to throw him the ball before he's a problem.

I think Cutler's overrated. All he has is a strong arm and he's not a great leader.

Are you going by the ridiculous criticism he got for not finishing the NFC Championship game (when he had a torn MCL), or was there another reason you think his leadership skills are lacking?

I don't really care for him but Marquees Wilson is my guy and the Bears just became my new favorite team and Cutler is my new favorite quarterback.

its hard to say who is a steal until what.. the third year.. sure you can speculate.. then an injury or he doesn't evolve to the pro game.. many college players look great untill they hit real competition. that's why many suggest wait and see then evaluate steals and busts..

I think if he can stay clean that Tyrann Mathieu will be the steal for where he was taken. He has first round athletic ability, hopefully his buddy/mentor Patrick Peterson can keep him on the up and up. I feel he will eventually take over the hole left when they cut Adrian Wilson.

That little fag can't cover shit. He'll be a return man or slot reciever, but will get lit up as a DB.

Hence why I say Marquees Wilson is a steal. He basically played against pro's with his jv junior high team known as the Washington State Cougs.

Of course, these are if they don't get injured and stay out of trouble.

4th round 126 pick - William Gholston (Buccaneers) - Buccaneers went heavy at the DL last season and I believe if Adrian Clayborn didn't get injured, they would have been a lot better at defending the box. Gholston is a rough and tough DL and will fit their style great.

5th round 148 pick - A.J. Klein (Panthers) - I've watched him for 2 years now at Iowa State and he is an underrated linebacker. He was Big 12 co-defensive player of the year 2 times (sharing it Arthur Brown from KSU). He's one of those players that just to be at the right place at the right time. Even after his teammate Jake Knott had to end his career, Klein continued being a stud.

5th round 151 pick - Joseph Randal (Cowboys) - Joseph Randal kind of fell off the grid at Oklahoma State this past season, but he was a stud 2 seasons ago. There was time when he was running with the best of them. He was successful running when the team was successful passing. Cowboys seem to get young, no-name talent to perform good for a little while. I think Randal has potential.

6th round 182 pick - Kenjon Barner (Panthers) - Why not? He did good at Oregon. Panthers have pretty much the same kind of offense. Cam Newton takes the snap, runs around, and passes it to an open receiver, and hands off every once in a while.

6th round 190 pick - Rex Burkhead (Bengals) - He is a tough running back in a division that tough running backs succeed. He has a great leader at QB in Dalton. I can see Burkhead making a name in Cincinnati.

I'm not a Cards fan, but they got a couple of potential steals, starting with Okafor. I liked their late running backs as well. I thought the Cards, Bills and Rams all had great drafts. As for my Cowboys, :laugh3:

Broncos 5th rounder Quanterus Smith. Was leading the nation in sacks before he tore his ACL, and still led in sacks per game.
