For years I have never figured the Leafs out. They seem to play the top teams tough then will get blown out by a bottom feeder. Am I wrong here? I feel bad for Leaf fans because they are some of the best (if not the best) in the league and it must drive them nuts at times. JMO.

I have a lot of Canadian relatives and my mom was Canadian and this must be frustrating as hell for you guy's and gal's.

Too true Boss. I really don't understand why efforts like they had tonight seem to come and go as dramatically as they do. Granted Carolina is exactly an elite team, but one the Leafs have had problems with for a while now. Oh well, I'll take the win. Always fun to beat the Canes.

Thanks my friend, but it does get depressing at times. Now we get to play the Pens tomorrow and no team has has a longer layoff than the Sabres during the All Star break. It's tough to shake the rust off. First game since the ASG and the longest idle time before it. How did that shit happen?
