You dont think they only fly together, do you???*Biggest question is where is Han, Chewie and Leia?
I just want to know if they're going to be making any action figures for those characters. They're pretty central, no?You dont think they only fly together, do you???
It has been 30 years. Leia certainly has gotten her Chewie on from time to time...
I read that yesterday and thought "That's very Jacen Solo-esque." I think they are going to include more from the EU than we realize. Maybe some of the same themes and basic storylines but re-imagined.The big fall media push for Star Wars appears to have begun.
This is the cover on this weeks EW, and they have a big section of the magazine dedicated to the movie.

There is also some interesting information that Abbrams mentions, and one is a pretty big bombshell.
1)
Kylo Ren ("Girls'" Adam Driver). That Kylo Ren isn’t even his real name. “He is a character who came to the name Kylo Ren when he joined a group called the Knights of Ren,” Abrams teased.
Ren is apparently a Darth Vader obsessive, hence the Vader-inspired outfit. “The movie explains the origins of the mask and where it’s from, but the design was meant to be a nod to the Vader mask,” he continued. “He is well aware of what’s come before, and that’s very much a part of the story of the film...The lightsaber is something that he built himself, and is as dangerous and as fierce and as ragged as the character.”
That said, he won't just be Darth Vader 2.0. “He is not your prototypical mustache-twirling bad guy,” Abrams explained. “He isn’t as fully formed as when we meet a character such as Darth Vader. I think that there are two sides to the Force. Both sides, arguably, would see themselves as the hero of their story, and I think that applies here.”
2) Domhnall Gleeson will be playing one of the New Order's leaders, General Hux, and that a base they use is called the "StarKiller". ET is claiming this was mentioned to them a few weeks ago by Gleeson and it was a slip, but appears it's confirmed.
3) Abbrams is claiming that he's only going to direct this first movie. Other directors will be handling 8 and 9. Many thought he planned to do 8 and 9, but appears he's not interested it doing them all.
I read they are going to move all of the animal pens off site and take over another section as well. Along the north end of the park I think. Not sure how in the hell there going to round up 14 acres of land for this at DisneyLand, unless their planning on gutting one of the older parts of the park to gain some of this space.
Then again, they spent 4 billion for the rights to the SW universe, so they don't plan to break even on the deal. They're going to do anything possible to double to triple the return on that.
