That was definitely a whimper of an ending... Made this entire series come off as more of a setup for the stuff to come.

Unfortunately, the most fan-servicey this they set up for was the reference to the Father and Son, with the Daughter’s carving destroyed. And now they can’t really do much with that, as teased, with Stevenson’s death. I guess they can shift that story over to Ezra and/or Shin, but I think they have other plans there…

They better. No need to abandon the story just because Stevenson died. He was great in the role but its not like the character was some all time iconic role for years that can never be replaced.

I HATE HATE HATE recasts, but this is pretty much the case. If Baylan was going to be key moving forward, then recast. If you are working with Father and Son (and potentially, Mother!) than changing his appearance is certainly explainable.

I think they have to.
They could go all digital, but probably not the best way to go.

Interestingly enough, Hugh Jackman is of similar age and has the beard and height, but probably off the table.
Nick Offerman is 4" shorter.
