Hey 43, Hows the weather in Ohio? I was going to leave early this morning but something came up. Headed for SW Ohio in a couple hours. (Near Ind state line)

Yesterday was 80 and sunny with a gentle breeze. Not perfect though. There was a cloud.

Looking like it's gonna be sunny and between 80-90 for the next week. Looking forward to that. I love the nice mild June here.

Thanks, I've never been crazy about the heat I like it around 70 but I'll live.

I will not be here to cheer on my Bruins next game. Heading up to north country to ride quads on so awesome trails. Where I am going there is no internet. I do plan on going to a bar to try and see if they have cable tv lol. Long weekend all guys and riding quads and of course drinking like we was back in college.

BTM I expect you to hold down the fort on the haters!!

GO BRUINS!!!

It's a combination of massive amounts of rain along with extreme melting of the snowpack in the Rocky Mountains and all the creeks, rivers etc. that flow into Calgary. Calgary always gets a lot of rain in the month of June, but hundreds of millimeters of rain have fallen in the past couple of days.

Saw something about evacuations too. So, this is more common than not? I lived in SJ when they postponed a game (I believe against DET) because of heavy flooding. That was freaky.

This is pretty rare for Calgary, but not so rare for communities west and south of Calgary. I think how fast creeks and rivers overflowed their banks caught everybody by surprise.

DAMN NOW I HAVE TO DO MATH!!! Ok lets say it's 200mm of rain. 200X.03937 (conversion of metric into inches) =7.874 inches. That is a lot combined with the melting of the snow pack.
