That was an awesome game. I was very pleased with the play by the Bruins. Pretty even game last night. Ended with an awesome goal, unfortunately he was wearing a blue sweater.

As was I, lol, I just came up to catch game 1 in Boston, I had no idea tornados were fucking shit up. For a second people were freaking me out saying that they could head for Boston, I was like wtf!? Just my luck... then the game went out for 10 minutes and I was almost in tears, until I remembered I have a space age cell phone.

Of course Bergys hand was near his mouth, but he wasnt shoving his hand inside his mouth. Should a guy try and bite the guys fist coming at him in a fight on the ice instead of throwing punches because his fist is coming near his mouth?

Ok, look at that picture. Can you tell me how Bergeron can see his hand in Burrows mouth with Burrows hand, arm, and the ref in the way? Both players were pushing back and forth trying to push each others face. there's no excuse for Burrows biting, none. That's all I'll say on the subject.

Bergeron was talking a lot about it after the game because he was the victim in this case. Bergeron described the scenario and he talked about the three French guys that were involved in it, including himself, Burrows and linesman Pierre Racicot.

The replay showed Burrows with Bergeron's finger in his mouth as the two got tangled up behind the Bruins net, with Racicot in between the two players.

Bergeron said that he asked Racicot why he wasn't calling a penalty, and that Racicot responded by saying that Bergeron had put his finger in Burrow's mouth.

I doubt he'll get a game. Should be a fine and a warning at most. I don't like the bite either but a lot worse stuff goes on out there that doesn't get anything so a game would be a bit much.

this is a snapshot in time ... Bergeron was looking right at burrows when he initially put his fingers in his face ... and then kept them there

One thing that's really sad is the media (most notably one ESPN) will be talking about the bite more than the actual game. Two great goaltending performances with a classic finish and a great goal and all we'll hear today is "the bite". FWIW, biting like this has happened hundreds of times over the years, just not on the big stage of the final. If the league really wants to send a message, how about telling these jokers that when the linesman gets in between them on these pussy scrums, they have 3 seconds to knock it off or they are gone. It's not like Bergy and Burrows are scrappers who are going to actually do any real fighting (not that they could at the end of a period, it's an automatic ejection) but still, a couple of lightweights.
