Got a promotion at work so the time is limited.

Congrats bro!!! Well, I am off. Gonna go celebrate in the greatest city! Once again, Wayne, Dan, AJ, Dash, Magooo and Modec (not even sure if you are still on SportsHoopla), do or die tonight gentlemen! I hope our boys show up. If we play like we have all series, I think we will all be in for a nice treat! Take care, be safe, and above all...

I meant the calm before the game, not the calm before you piss everybody off.

There is never a calm before I piss people off, I do it all the time, there are no breaks. Get it right! :sly:

i can say however that Daniel, Henrik and Robertos Careers will be defined tonight forever. Kesler is young enough he can still change that. but those 3 are under the microscope HUGE

If the B's win it'll mean that Boston's had a champion in every major sport within a 7 year span. That's just not fair.

rivalry time:

Did you know: Jeff Tambellini, in lineup tonight, beat out Ryan Kesler for CCHA Rookie of the Year when they were college freshmen

Kesler has to be getting tired of finishing runner-up.

On PTI yesterday, Kornheiser made a great comparison between this playoff series and the 1960 Pirates-Yankees World Series.

The Pirates won the series winning 4 games by a combined total of 7 runs (including two one-run wins). In their three wins, the Yankess won by a combined total of 38-3 including two shutouts. Overall, the Yankees outscored the Pirates by 28 runs, but lost the series. Craziness.

I thought it was an interesting and thoughtful analogy.

So, will Tambellini win the game in the bottom of OT with a walk-off penalty shot?

C'mon. We went 86 years without a WS champion, 22 years without an NBA champion, Won our 1st SB in 2002, and it's been 39 years since a cup. I would rather they get spread out sure. If Boston doesn't win the cup I'll be happy for the fans of the Canucks, and SOME Canucks players.
