Kevin Bieksa asked one of the referees what happened to Mason Raymond 20 seconds into Game 6 on Monday night and he couldn't get a straight answer.

"I still don't know what is wrong with him," Bieksa said after the Canucks' 5-2 loss to Boston forced the Stanley Cup Final to go to Game 7 on Wednesday. "I still don't know what happened."

Vancouver captain Henrik Sedin was told by one of the referees that Raymond lost his edge, and that's why no penalty was called. The Canucks were reportedly furious that nothing was called.

Canucks still unsure about Raymond's injury - 2011 Stanley Cup Final - Canucks v Bruins

Don't know if this is being too hard on him, but I think he has played enough games by now. It's time Malholtra did something to contribute. Go hard to the net, battle home a goal, something. The emotional lift of him being back doesn't seem to be helping anymore.

win one for Masie!!!

(please???)

I'm not sure which way Game 7 will go Puck, but for you and the rest of the Van fans.....at least the game will be in BC.

Either way, good luck.

Fuck Luongo and his home record,Schneider deserves the start.
How in the hell can the nuck players have any confidence in that sob now?

They should have kept him in,hoped he pulled a Patrick Roy,and saved some cap space.

The difference in Vancouver from home to road is alarming. Fortunately for them Game 7 is at home. I guess the one positive they can take from Game 6 is there was a Sedins sighting.

3 goals on 8 shots in less than 10 minutes of the 1st period. Luongo bounced back from Game 4, but I'm sure he's going to be on a short leash in Game 7.

Don't know it it's already been posted, but congrats to Marchand for setting a Bruins record for goals by a rookie in a playoff year.

He got his 9th goal in Game 6, which broke a team rookie record set by Mike Krushelnyski in 1983 and tied by Bobby Joyce in 1988.

So far through 6 games, the Nucks have only scored 1 goal in the 1st period, 0 goals in the 2nd, and 7 goals in the 3rd.

Amazing that there's a Game 7 at all when you see stats like that.

radio saying out 6 months

:L

edit:
Meanwhile, Boston fans shouting "flopper" as Raymond lay on the ice with what sounds like a serious injury: stomach-churning. Low point.

Dr recchi says 2 vitamin C will fix him up good

Brian Burke - "Sedin is not Swedish for punch me in the head..."

Apparently, Brad Marchand didn't hear Burkie

I posted in the game thread in February that I wanted to see the Bruins play the Canucks 4 to 7 more times and I got my wish. Whatever happens on Wednesday night it has been a terrific series and a tale of two cities. Good luck to the Canucks fan will congratulate you guys if your team wins Wednesday but I hope not.

thats a very blatant 10 minute misconduct penalty for Sedin there: taking too many shots to the head
