They should at least hold off on the Cup parade. Remember the Capitals postseason qualifications are still being appealed and the entire playoffs may need to be replayed based on the outcome. We should know more by next week.

If it had been competitive then I would’ve tuned in for more than a single game.

Overall the playoffs aren’t exactly enthralling. I’m not sure what you can do about it but there has to be a reason that round one is usually fucking insane and everything after is like pulling teeth.

It would be nice if playoff hockey more closely resembled hockey. We play by one rule book all season only for it to get thrown out at the outset of the first round.

I remember a cartoon in The Hockey News in the 90's that had a ref and two players. One player is standing over the other one holding a smoking gun and the ref is saying "You're lucky this is playoff overtime, or else I'd have to call that"
