I hate undeserving Vegas’ fans getting a Disney Fast Pass to a Cup. I would have rather seen the stupid Penguins win than those Medieval Times mofos.

Let's see, Denver fans got a very good team in the Quebec Nordiques for their inaugural season and then Mario Tremblay helped push Patrick Roy to the Mile High City resulting in a Stanley Cup championship in that same season. They (Denver) also didn't shell out $650 million to join the league.

I pretty much only watched because i have watched every awarding of the cup in my lifetime and wasn't ready to break the streak yet.

Well, at least they have one fan I can be happy for. Bark-Andre Fleury should be pleased today and hopefully getting a little kibble out of the Cup. He's a class act.

If it had been competitive then I would’ve tuned in for more than a single game.

Overall the playoffs aren’t exactly enthralling. I’m not sure what you can do about it but there has to be a reason that round one is usually fucking insane and everything after is like pulling teeth.

Yes, but what if I told you that the series could be changed not by the play on the ice, but based on a system whereby wins could be "amassed," shall we say. And those "win investments" could be put into play administratively and change the face of each series. What do you think...

They should at least hold off on the Cup parade. Remember the Capitals postseason qualifications are still being appealed and the entire playoffs may need to be replayed based on the outcome. We should know more by next week.

Keep hope alive, Boston fans!
