That was unsatisfying, I wanted OT. Going to be an uphill climb if Montreal is going to make a series out of it.

Will there be another game in Tampa this season?

That was the last NHL game on NBCSN.

Can Montreal just go ahead and add 18 mil to their payroll? Get Crosby and McDavid?

Or is that something only the Dildoes can do?

The thing is fans care more about this than the league does which is odd because they brought in the cap mainly to line owners pockets with more money, but ostensibly to create parity. I prefer the pre-cap days where teams could spend as much money as they wanted on players, trades were easier due to the fact that you didn't have to worry about fitting players under a cap, and a bad signing didn't cripple your team. The great cap equalizer especially come playoff time is a hot goalie.

That all said, Tampa has done nothing wrong as far as violating any rules are concerned, but it certainly has an odor about it.

Bettman would be okay with a player dying on the ice provided all the news outlets talk about it. That's all he cares about, no such thing as bad press. But much like the rest of the officiating of the game league-wide it's the selective enforcement of things that is so infuriating.

Dump money into Arizona for decades, but trash Atlanta first chance you get.

Absolutely slam the Devils for trying to bring down Kovalchuk's AAV (in a way that was not necessarily prohibited), but allow the Lightning to keep Johnson, Palat and Cirelli and even add guys like Coleman and Savard by hiding Kucherov for a season.

No problem here, right?

It's fine. No one has ever gotten COVID after being outside. Much safer having people outside.

I was thinking that the only city in Canada that is on par with Vancouver as far as rioting after wins or losses is Montreal.

gotta tip the hat to Montreal for starting it off back in 1955, when Montreal rioted after Henri Richard was suspended for punching a linesman and knocking him out.
note - he was fined $250 for slapping a different linesman three months before that suspension.

Another Saturday night coming up and no hockey - Instead we have a game tonight and then a two day break before game 4 on Monday. Just doesn't seem right.
