There appears to be a lot of blame being dumped at the feet of Skinner, meanwhile the Oilers top 5 point guys (McDavid, Draisaitl, Hyman, RNH, and Bouchard) have yet to score a goal in this series.

Staples thinks the Oilers got goalied again last night - Bob made some nice saves, but the Panthers dominated the first 40 minutes and then the Oilers had a late push in the 3rd period. Shots on goal don't tell the whole story. Such a twit.

Curious if the one Florida goal on the mishandle by Skinner counts as a "Grade A shot"

I know it’s been beaten to death by now, but Holland ruined their chances for a Cup or multiple Cups with his Nurse and Campbell signings. Skinner isn’t great but with a defensive upgrade maybe it’s a whole different ballgame. Hell, maybe the signings didn’t even harm them as much as Kenny not coughing up a first rounder for Tanev.

Going back even further, they were up in the running to land Markstrom, but were outbid by Calgary. Who knows, they could have a Cup by know with Marky as their goalie.

maybe she is just like the fucking asshole that sat next to me during game 7 in 2011... wearing a Canucks jersey until Boston was up 3-0 and then he took it off with his bruins jersey underneath...

I have apologized on multiple occasions.

I see multiple posts on Twitter/X saying this Oilers team reminds them of the '83 Oilers who were swept in the Stanley Cup Final by the Isles only to come back in '84 to win their first Stanley Cup. It's such a different brand of hockey being played today as compared to 40 years ago that such a comparison is pretty ridiculous.

I am not surprised. they are incredibly disillusioned with someone like McDavid. I will never doubt what he is a player but man he doesn't have ANYTHING close around him to what Gretzky had in 83.. hell that 2005 team was a better team than this one, they just didnt have a McDavid and Draisaitl combo

83 oilers were DEEP team, and on the rise.
24 oilers are a two trick pony, and one of those ponies may leave town as he is entering the last season of his 8 year deal with nothing to show for it.
the other pony's contract is up the year after.

the pile of horseshit is signed until 2030, however.

Also, remember that video of McDavid doing a beer run after the WCF to pick up Coors Light? Do you think if he had gotten a different brand of beer things would have played out differently?
