You had all this last year puck, and weren't missing much the year before.. But I don't honestly think you guys are the team to beat in the west. I just feel Lou is your achilles heel. Just my opinion.. I could def be wrong though. If you were in the east then maybe!

fwiw, all the guys I mentioned in the first part of my post are new
mainly upgraded 3rd line and defense top 4.

I have to agree with puck, this is the most balanced Canucks team I've seen in several seasons. A lot can happen between now and April (injuries etc.) but right now, they're clicking on all cylinders.

I have to agree with puck, this is the most balanced Canucks team I've seen in several seasons. A lot can happen between now and April (injuries etc.) but right now, they're clicking on all cylinders.

Agree completely, but they haven't been that far off the last couple of years and last year they were right up there with the top teams in the west so they had a good shot last year too.. I don't think the Nucks suck or anything like that, I just think the excuse of wether we had that or this we would have won is kind of dumb to a point.

When Salo gets back in Jan/Feb, Kevin Bieksa could be our 7th defenseman. He'd be top 2 on 10 teams, top 4 on 20 teams.

I named 5 players that are an upgrade from last year, and you are still asking the same question over and over.
You either aren't reading it, or I am posting in the wrong language.

yeah, I consider him a bit of a bonus, not a targeted upgrade like the other guys.
He sure boosted our 2nd line to the fastest in the biz, though (w/ Kesler and Raymond)

I hear what your sayin though, but look at our team last year. We upgraded and it isn't really paying off that greatly. We went to the cup with a worse team than we have now!
