will coaches start to coach to win instead of not losing any time soon
Been a problem in sports forever. They have yet to learn.will coaches start to coach to win instead of not losing any time soon
SMU got robbedSome unbelievable chokes.
Baylor and SMU just totally choked.
The college game was better without a shot clock and the three point line. It has continually got worse since the implementation of those rules. Something needs to change.
What? Not having a shot clock would lead to more stalling by teams later in the game. I can't imagine watching a team passing the ball back and forth for over a minute.
west Virginia in stall ball mode since the 6 minute mark with a 5 pt lead. haven't score since. these coaches just don't get it
Bob Huggins doesn't "get it"?
Ok, buddy. Sure.
did u watch the game? 6 minutes left up 7 and they stalled every possession the rest of the game. buffalo got right back in the game. wv didn't score a basket in 5+ minutes because of it. they are lucky the buffalo couldn't hit a shot or they would be at home right now. stall ball doesn't work.
Bob Huggins is a coaching legend. I think he knows what works.
there are a lot of coaching legends that do it. coach k does it. it is still stupid. it allows teams back in the game
No, it's genius. You just don't like it. You want MOAR POINTZ!
There's a reason the 4 corner offense was so effective. It shortens the game. That is a good thing when you're ahead with only a few minutes to go.

Those were improvements. College basketball has gotten worse with much of the talent leaving within 2 years. AAU is another major cause of the slide. It is amazing, but kids play more organized basketball today than any other time period and fundamentals are at a historic lowThe college game was better without a shot clock and the three point line.
