The college game was better without a shot clock and the three point line. It has continually got worse since the implementation of those rules. Something needs to change.

What? Not having a shot clock would lead to more stalling by teams later in the game. I can't imagine watching a team passing the ball back and forth for over a minute.

Yes a few teams did that but a least the game was entertaining until the last two minutes. Now the game is a boring foul shot contest most of the last 5 minutes. The rules need to either shorten the shot clock or get rid of it. The other thing is do like the NBA and do away with zone defenses if you're going to have a shot clock. The points UNLV, OU et al scored back in the 80's and early 90's before the 3 point and shot clock rules puts today's game to shame.

It's dumb. Valpo was down three with about 30 seconds left and passed up a quick easy lay up that was wide open, all they needed to do was pass it. They could've fouled immediately, then maybe come back down 1, 2, or worst case scenario 3. Instead they dribble around until 17 seconds, call a time out, then try to get a three point shot. Iowa just guarded the perimeter. It's so dumb.

did u watch the game? 6 minutes left up 7 and they stalled every possession the rest of the game. buffalo got right back in the game. wv didn't score a basket in 5+ minutes because of it. they are lucky the buffalo couldn't hit a shot or they would be at home right now. stall ball doesn't work.

No, it's genius. You just don't like it. You want MOAR POINTZ!

There's a reason the 4 corner offense was so effective. It shortens the game. That is a good thing when you're ahead with only a few minutes to go.

college kids aren't good enough to face a defense and have their backs against the shot clock. 4 corners worked great because there was no shot clock. with a shot clock it is stupid.

Those were improvements. College basketball has gotten worse with much of the talent leaving within 2 years. AAU is another major cause of the slide. It is amazing, but kids play more organized basketball today than any other time period and fundamentals are at a historic low
