Having to get up at 5:30 to go to work, I fell asleep while watching the 5th inning. Man, did I miss the fireworks, but having Arizona in an affiliate fantasy league, it was bittersweet. I will take a win from my real life favorite team anytime over my fantasy team winning. Bullpen implosion, which has been pretty solid this year. Good game, try again tonight.

I looked last night to savor in the glory of a Monday fantasy points haul to notice I forgot to take Jean Segura off my bench. It was one of those days.

Shell-me Miller tonight. Another dud and they may want to think about putting him in LF permanently.

He has fantastic numbers against the Cards, albeit in only 2 starts.

I know Ahmed's defense is worth putting up with his slumping, but at some point, Chip needs to think about playing Drury & sliding Segura to SS for a few games a weeks till he starts hitting again. One to two starts a week for Drury at 2B with Ahmed as a def replacement would get Drury the ABs he needs without having to sit Lamb as often as he has.

With that being said, Ahmed's BABIP is only .193. Considering MLB league average BABIP is around .300, that means he is making contact but suffering some "bad luck" at the moment. That is probably what is keeping him from not sitting a game a two a week right now.

Miller gets through the 1st inning.

That 1st inning basically encompasses Miller this season. When he pitches in the zone & gets ahead, he gets weak contact. When he nibbles & falls behind, he gets in trouble.

Hopefully it's more of the former than the latter tonight.

FS1 voices already kinda annoy me.
