A tough test to see just how ready for the season the Kings are. And it doesn't get any easier next game with a much improved Minnesota team coming in to try and prove they're up there in the top contender category.

I'm actually very excited to see Stastny and how he fits into the Blues' lineup. He's been offensively decent so far but it's also less than 5 games into the season, the Blues are a bang crash team and he isn't that type of guy.

My point is Gaborik isn't either and he fit in fine, I want to see if a similar type player can do the same on a similar team.

What do you guys think of this kid Pearson? So far he has made the best out of the little ice time hes had. I have him on my Fanduel team tonight and hoping he continues like he has but curious what you guys think of his long term potential?

I'm not a Kings fan but I really like his game. Him & Toffoli have really matured quickly & seem to fit right in already. Way people are talking, That 70s line is the best line in hockey right now.

Thanks Doob! Toffoli won me a bunch of cash last year and is putting up the points this year so far. Will be interested to see how they both pan out from here.

I think you'll be for sure happy with their production this year. Both have been magical with Jeff Carter so far & I expect this trend to continue rough out the year, injuries aside.

Pearson was not a favorite for Calder before the season started but if he stays hot with Carter he won't be overlooked for long.

I really like the speed that line plays with. I've wanted the Kings to get more speed into their lineup for a long time and finally they have some. I don't expect they'll be able to maintain the present scoring rate but they should be able get maybe 20-30 goals each as long as they stay healthy.

As far as this game goes the Kings had better learn to stay out of the penalty box. The Blues have too much skill to keep giving them power plays. I know the Kings have a real good PK (they even kill the opponents penalties) but you can only play with fire so many times before you get burned.

Watching the box scores noidea and every update is "Kings shoot wide". Shots are pretty heavy for Blues (29-15, so I am sure that is all ESPN will look at). "Blues controlled play and deserved better judging by the stat lines. This is definitely feeling like it's their year".

Still hate the Blues...

On that note. Looking at Gamecenter Live, but that price tag of $160 is pretty high to me. $20/month for 8 months is also an option. Might just get full cable for that.

The stat lines pretty much tell everything you need to know. The Blues have indeed controlled the play just about the entire game. To be perfectly honest St Louis deserves the win. If somehow the Kings get the extra point it'll be due to Quick.
