I haven’t watched it yet but he is getting hyped
I can see why. He has a great arm and can run. If you are a Kyler Murray fan, he is basically the same thing.

If Washington plans to draft a QB, they already know that they need a bigger, stronger, stronger armed version of Taylor Heinicke. In this draft there are two of that type... Corrall and Willis! Corrall has injury issues and Willis is pretty raw, but given the choice, Washington should go with Willis because of dependability and upside.

SN; It's risky given the desperation for QB's in the NFL, but if there's some way to get either in round two, that would be the best move.

I agree with your statement except they are being there in round 2. I got Round 1 Willis, Pickett and Coral, round 2 Howell and Ridder. Ridder is interesting. He is mobile and big. Has a decent arm.

I think what happens in the actual game is anticlimactic. The American team could not protect the QB. Nothing in the game impressed me as a whole as far as the QBs went. IMO Ridder probably had the best game of any QB.

I see the Kyler Murray comparisons. Vick could be interesting. If Willis goes off in the combine, he will be QB1 in the draft. Every team wants the next Vick. I see three first round Qb's in this draft. Willis, Pickett and Corall. Do you agree?

I was slightly taken back by the senior bowl highlights of Willis -- all runs. Still looks like a great prospect that simply needs to sit. All that running will shorten his career, and that back foot cannon throwing may not always work, unless he's kin to Mahommes.
Pickett of course did well, and Ridder didn't look too bad either. I'm still for a QB round 1.

I never said that they would be there in round 2. I said it would be risky but if there was some way to get either in round 2, that would be the move.

(I have no doubt about some of these guys going in round one, I just believe that none are top two thirds of round one graded.)

They will be picked in round one but they will be reaches in most cases.
I would pull the trigger and keep drafting qbs till we get one ( not always round one )

Im for qb in round 1. If we do draft one, he will be expected to start week 1. Scott Truner is going to want a mobile qb. I think Wils went to QB1 on every team's draft board today.

If he did he won’t be there for the commies and I would not trade up

Depends on what happens in FA. IF Denver gets a qb he could fall to us. Or some team could have Pickett as QB1. Corral will be there at #11.
You would have to think that the Commanders QB board right now is Willis, Corall, Pickett, Ridder, and Howell. The first three make sense at #11. I think Ridder or Howell could be had in a trade down. This is assuming we dont sign a FA QB or we don't trade for one. 3 Qb's are going in the first round maybe 4. So much for weak qb class.

I would bump Howell and Ridder over Pickett after what I saw in the sr bowl practices and the game . Could change at combine

Not sure where all this hype about Willis in the senior bowl is coming from. I didn’t watch but I heard the dude only had 11 yards passing and 54 rushing. Pickett actually went 6-6 89 yards. Heard rider had pretty good game as well

He is still a project to me I think he needs at least 2 years to sit and develop
