I'm not really agreeing or disagreeing with your take or anyone else's. I think it's just a quirk of having a tournament that includes a losers bracket this extensive. I've seen tournaments where they go as far as 11th place games.

Like I said, I've never cared enough beyond what my own team did to really look into it. The more games the better, imo.

I just think it's different IRL when a game is played and over in 2/3 hours. This stuff is a week long rhetorical banter.

Give Ohio St a do-over. I think you'll find Nebraska fans either vote for Ohio St or abstain altogether from the silliness.

Then Ohio St can demand a rematch with USC, because, well, USC only beat them once as well.

Let's not forget Ohio St didn't get to play Oklahoma or Notre Dame either, they should get a chance to beat them as well. If they don't beat Oklahoma or Notre Dame the first time, then they should get a rematch.

Basically what you're saying is you are stocking up on wins over Alabama while you can?

My question is this....

If Ohio St wins the rematch with Nebraska (after another week of banter), will their be a rubber match (tie breaker) best of three, and another week of banter?

Same goes for USC/Alabama. If Alabama beats them in the rematch, shouldn't it go to the best of 3?
My question is who cares?

And no, we don't want a rematch with Nebraska you guys already one but that's the way the bracket is setup from day one.

Cmon man this thing doesn't mean anything let er go!

It matters to you. Otherwise you wouldn't be yappin' about it.
Um. I haven't said thing one about the format. I have commented in the threads though. That is certainly true. One might even conclude that I enjoy talking about college football as well as killing time in the off season.

I based this bracket off a 32-man bracket for the NCAA Wrestling Individual Championship

No problems with the format for me. I was only thinking you could take the previous results to fill in the blanks for the constellation bracket, but hell it's not a big deal.
