1) Alabama - (till somebody beats them)
2) Florida State - (very very impressive)
3) Oregon - (next 3 games gives them the chance to jump back up)
4) Ohio State - (almost moved down to 5 after looking average 3 straight weeks)
5) Miami - (undefeated with 2 solid wins)
6) Missouri - (think Baylor would roll them, but yesterday's win is better than any of Baylor's)
7) Baylor - (dear lord, this team is flat out scary. Seastrunk for Heisman?)
8) Texas Tech - (7-0; 4-0 in conference play)
9) Stanford - (by far the best 1 loss resume)
10) Auburn - (had the same resume as gaggies, but now they've beaten them)
11) Virginia Tech - (6 straight wins. only loss is to Bama)
12) UCF - (wins @PSU and @L'Ville. only loss by 3pts to South Carolina. they deserve this spot)
13) UCLA - (still a good resume. dropped 7 spots on my board, which is as far as I can go)
14) Northern Illinois - (7-0 with 5 road wins and 2 wins vs Big 10. J. Lynch for Hesiman?)
15) Fresno State - (6-0. wins vs Rutgers, Boise, @Hawaii, UNLV)
16) Oklahoma - (win @Notre Dame is looking better. enough to get them here)
17) Louisville - (they had to stay undefeated to stay high ranked. schedule is awful)
18) Clemson - (lose like that and suffer the consequences. win vs UG not as impressive anymore)
19) Michigan - (nobody beats scrubs closely like they do. did beat Notre Dame and won big this week)
20) Oklahoma State - (I had them on upset alert, but they looked good)
21) Michigan State - (only loss is close @Notre Dame)
22) Nebraska - (meh...)
23) LSU - (2 losses and only 1 ranked win. not sure what else they should expect. best 2 loss resume)
24) BYU - (wins vs Texas, @Utah St, Georgia Tech, and @ undefeated Houston. have played tough schedule)
25) Texas - (no way no how did I expect us to be here. we back doored into this spot. but we murdered OU)

My rankings are a composite of how good the teams have actually performed on the field and how good I actually think they are (sorry, Miami, but I think there are 8, maybe 9 SEC teams better than you. Including Florida. But I can't argue with undefeated).
