So why do you have Georgia ahead of Boise and South Carolina? Do you have Clemson ahead of VT? Why do you have a 2 loss Oregon ahead of a 2 loss USC? Do you have Baylor ahead of TCU?

Does his ranking of CFB teams really mess with your mind that badly? I'm sure everyone ranks teams for their own stupid reasons...even I do.

Overall I think the SportsHoopla poll balances out pretty well anyways

No it doesnt. Im just trying to understand the reasoning. Frankly I have no issue with ranking UGA top 10 but you cant tell me its because of how you think teams would fare head to head and then not actually apply that logic. None of our opinions really matter but Im still interested in how people vote and why they vote as they do since i think it gives an insight into how actual voters may vote as well. The problem with polls and rankings in general isnt that they are subjective but rather there isnt a set of rules that should be applied. When people can vote teams up or down to further their own agenda its an inherently unfair system IMO.

Also I think Arky's 2 losses to #1 & 2, pull them down less than Okie Lite's loss to an unranked.

No they don't. Two losses are two losses. Quality losses are basically moral victories. Arkansas and Okie State both have good offenses (Okie St is better, IMO) but their defenses are awful. Arkansas doesn't deserve to be ranked ahead of Okie State after getting pounded twice they way they did. Especially when comparing the body of work overall. Yes, Arky played #1 and #2 on the road but they got embarrassed.

their only decent win is over South Carolina and that was during the period when South Carolina was struggling to ajust to life without Lattimore

Please. LSU gave up a lot of yards in the air. What do you expect when someone throws the ball 65 times? All of those yards and LSU held them to 21 points and beat them by 26 points. LSU essentially made WVU one dimensional. They can throw all they want if it doesn't yield many points, which is exactly what happened.

1) I have Georgia ahead of Boise & USCe because UGA has improve that much, and because USCe has devolved that much.

2) No, I don't have Clemson above VT... because Clemson sucks.


3) Mainly because USC doesn't matter.
