Any poll that has Houston outside the top 5 because they " havent beat anyone" and then ranks Arkansas is the top 10 with 2 blowout losses to the ONLY 2 decent teams they have played this year is a HUGE LOL. Same goes for people ranking Houston 24 and Georgia top 10. UGA has 0 quality wins. Lost to the ONLY 2 top 25 caliber teams they've played and didn't play LSU or Bama. Hosuton would be at LEAST 10-2 with UGA's schedule ( probably better)

Florida State above Nebraska?
TCU @ 18 in the middle of the 3 lose teams? They beat BSU. They only have one "bad" lost to a 7-5 Southern Methodist. Thier other lost was to Baylor.
And of course your Houston @ 24? You can't obviously believe that Houston is the 24th best team. You have West Virginia above them whose conference is just a shitty as theirs and have lost 3 games.

2 wins against a terrible Auburn and an average GT isnt any better than wins over a terrible ( P12 division champ) UCLA and an average Tulsa. Auburn and GT are a combined 3-8 in their last 11 games ( when Georgia beat them). Neither of those teams is any damn good.

Georgia's is not the same team they were at the beginning of the season. Anyone who has watched them throughout the year would agree with that.

I definitely agree with that but in CFB you rank teams based on their entire years performance. Do i think UGA is a top 5-7 team right now?? Maybe, but their resume doesnt warrant that kind of ranking. In a sport where there is no playoff you have to rank teams based on the whole of what theyve accomplished. You cant just base it on who you think would win right now if the teams played. Otherwise Ill put Wisconsin at number 1 since I still firmly believe they are the absolute best team in the country.

You rank your teams how you want, and I'll do the same.

In the end, UGA will be about right where they need to be.

Like JJM previously said in a thread awhile ago...

If you believe a team is better than another one, then put them ahead of that said team

But if you're basing your ranking off of where teams are now and not the whole years performance than what is the point of even considering any of the games before?

I'm not going to make my poll how you guys want me too, so just drop it.

I think in years past, everyone agreed that losses at the begining of the season don't bear down on a team as much as losses toward the end of the seaon.

I don't want you to change it. I just want your reasoning and your reasoning doesn't make sense to me.

I agree that loses at the beginning of the year don't bear down a team AS much but they are still loses and have to count for something.
