well Tulsa has two more losses than Southern Mrs

but the key is the difference in the losses

Tulsa lost to 3 top 10 teams

Southern Mrs lost to Marshall

Like I said. I can see the logic. I just don't agree with it. Yes, Southern Miss lost to Marshall but a lot of the top 25 have lost to bad teams. Yes, I know Southern Miss doesn't have a good win, but neither does really. Southern Miss does have a W over Virginia if that counts for anything.

I have Houston about 8th which is reasonable but if they ebat SMU, Tulsa and Southern Miss the next 3 weeks and are one of only 2 unbeatens then I will also have them in the top 2. Win the games baby, you dont control who you schedule and if they win those 3 they would have wins over 5-7 bowl teams this year ( most in blowout fashion). On a sidenote I think Case Keenum needs some serious consideration for the Heisman. In a year where no one is really standing out Keenum is on the verge of leading his team to a 13-0 record with the exact same talent that went 3-7 last year without him. Dude is a freaking stud. Period.

what if UCLA's 5-7 and somehow beats Oregon to win the Pac-12 championship, that would make a 6-7 team in the Rose bowl

off topic a little but more on the CCG and its stupidity.

Had USC been eligible this year they could blow this game off, not show anything in the game and rest their players the next week too so they'd be ready for the CCG. Meanwhile with Oregon still in the hunt for more we'd have to try in our games.

the PAC 10 did it best before we added Utah and Colorado. Play everyone once.

Tulsa got creds - they lost to OK, Okie St and Boise, then mopped it up against the scrubs. They put up numbers. That might be a real brawl with Houston.
