why are the teams that actually played tough games getting punished for it???

3 people didn't even rank Oregon(other than that the rankings of them is alright)

and hardly anyone has ranked Georgia

both teams lost to top 5 teams, why are they getting punished for actually playing a good team??? instead of being like others and playing Florida Atlantic, Kent State or Chattanooga to start the season.

Because there is no way to actually know whos a good team and whos not. Last year when UCLA beat Texas that was a " great " win that turned out to be shitty. The only thing I can go by is if you won or lost.

I guess you're right on that, but I already knew that there was something wrong with Texas, because UCLA lost to Kansas State so I had Texas somewhere in the bottom 20s because I thought it might be a possible fluke, but I didn't rank UCLA.

Because it's the beginning of the year and the only thing I have to go off of is W/L. Do we honestly know if LSU or BSU are that good? No, because they've only played 1 game. If it makes you feel any better, Oregon and Georgia are at the top of my 1 lose teams.

I didn't rank UGA because they are 0-1 and had a losing record last season. Oregon should be ranked in the top 15-20 range because LSU will be a 9-10 win team by the end of the season (maybe lose two of 'Bama/Arky/Mrs. State).
