Also, Texas A&M fell four spots, getting passed by LSU, South Carolina, Louisville, Florida and Florida State.

Nice work. I only see one error, you have UW ranked in the top 25, but also in the others receiving votes category.

I'm guessing most of you didn't believe TCU should be ranked prior to playing LSU? Their best player and Big 12 defensive player of the year doesn't play and they still held their own but they don't get ranked but LSU flies up the polls? Something doesn't add up. Or once again, humans make it where coaches want to schedule weak. You can't have it both ways guys. You can't beg teams to play games like this and then punish the losing school while rewarding schools for looking great against the little sisters of the poor.

TCU is almost ranked. Theres only one team that lost in the top 25 if I'm not mistaken. Georgia, and by preseason polls we dropped Georgia 8 spots and TCU only 7. I think...

Regardless of missing a player (most teams are) I think people recognize TCU about right where they should be. I'm sure they'll find their way back in the top 25 relatively quick.

Thanks, the team in the other receiving votes category is suppose to be Utah. Can a mod fix that for me?

How is it punishing TCU to drop them for losing?

Some of you don't get it. LSU was the higher ranked team and the favorite. TCU lost as they should have. Baylor plays Wofford and moves into the polls as one example. TCU loses to a probable top 10 and potentially even top 5 team and falls out of the polls. Why would TCU ever schedule a game like that again? This is the reason people schedule like they do now. Also, why did Georgia drop so far? They lost to a top 10 team on the road by 3 points. Why schedule a game like that again? Now they play another top 10 team and could fall completely out of the polls with another close loss while other teams play cupcakes and move up.

You schedule them so you can win them...

Well apparently beating Wofford is more impressive than losing a close game to LSU or Clemson so your premise is flawed. I'll just win those FCS games if I'm the coach from now on.

uh It's not like the big12 doesnt schedule their share of FCS schools.

In fact, going from memory it's one of the worst culprits.

TCU plays an fcs school this week and I'm sure they'll destroy them and move up by their results. Just like they moved down from their past result.

I was using a Big 12 school as an example of moving up from playing an FCS school dumb ass. This has shit to do with conferences and you are the first to mention it. But I will mention your shitty school almost lost to Wyoming and stayed ranked. Yet TCU fell out from losing to a good program in a good game. :noidea:

Why do you think nearly all of the FBS teams play FCS teams?
