I had planned to demote the Bruins further after their close call against the Jaguars, but so many other teams that were ranked near them lost, I just didn't have anywhere to move them to.
Lots of teams you could have moved ahead of them, come on man, lol. And NO, not referring to the Gophers, but Arkansas, WF & UK, among others possibly?

I did move Tennessee ahead of them. But Arkansas didn't impress that much last week, so they only gained two spots. NC State moved up 3, while both USC & Wake Forest moved up 4. With the exception of the new teams that just broke into the rankings, no team moved up more than four spots.

Most schools still have 8 or 9 weeks to prove themselves.

USC? What have they done to impress you?

What has UCLA done to convince you they deserve to be ranked #8? I ask because I looked at their schedule before the Colorado game and thought it looked pretty weak, and at least one of the 3 wins was not by a big margin, and then they allowed Colorado to score 10 more points against them than UMn allowed, and scored fewer points against them, too. They won by a 28 point margin while UMn won by a 42 point margin. And USC? Still ranking them on the belief bringing in a ton of transfers has to mean they will be MUCH better? 4-8 to Top Ten kind of better? And staying with the Pac, what has Washington done that Minnesota hasn't? They beat MSU AT HOME by 11 pts, UMn beat MSU ON THE ROAD by 27. And Utah? Who have they beat? 1-3 ASU? ASU lost to E Mich by more than a td difference!!!

UCLA struggled early vs. Bowling Green and needed a field goal as time expired to beat South Alabama and you have them in your top 10.

Are they even in "others receiving votes" in the AP or Coaches polls?
They are in there now.

I still have no clue how in the hell you feel Washington is Top Ten worthy??? Who had they beat in those first 8 games? MSU? UMn beat them far more impressively. Stanford, Arizona and Cali were their 3 conf wins, Kent St and Portland St were their other ooc wins. And they lost to ASU

Neither the AP or the Coaches polls, or the cfp Top 25 had them ranked Top 25 even.

I mean, you have the right to a different opinion, but you post something that ridiculous and no one says anything?

I could ask you what the Pac did during the ooc that makes you think they deserve FIVE Top 15 ranked teams???

It's not all about what the Pac-12 did, it's also about what other leagues didn't do. Did Washington's takedown of Oregon last weekend make you see them in any different light? I can't help it if I can see things in certain teams that other people are slow to pick up on.

It's not all about what the Pac-12 did, it's also about what other leagues didn't do. Did Washington's takedown of Oregon last weekend make you see them in any different light? I can't help it if I can see things in certain teams that other people are slow to pick up on.
Not much, because I have considered Oregon overrated all season. Did Washington losing to Ariz St make you see them in any different light?

How about Wash only beating MSU AT HOME by 11, 39-28, when Minnesota beat MSU on the road by 27, 34-7?

27 on the road is > 11 at home.

How about Wash only beating Cali by 7 and Oreg St by 3?

I'm not saying Washing is a crappy team. But Top Ten? Now you have them #7 in the nation???

Who the hell have they beat? Not UCLA, Not Ariz St. MSU much less impressively than Minnesota did. My guess is UDub won't beat Colorado as impressively as UMn beat them, either.

E Michigan, Stanford and Wazzu were all able to beat ASU, but not your #7 ranked Huskies. Just saying. Have no clue what it is you think you see in the Huskies, but NO ONE ELSE sees it.

They rank 70th in total defense, that's not very good. And they rank 101st in rushing offense. That's horrible.

So yes, they are #1 in passing offense, that's great, but that means they are 1 dimensional, Top 25 worthy, sure! Top 10??? No way, not even close.

The Composite rankings don't even have them in the Top 20. Of 93 different rankings, their best ranking is #12. But you got them #7??? lol

Ratings are always subject to change. The Huskies were still feeling their way & finding themselves when they beat Michigan St. The Gophers were playing some of their best football when they clobbered them a week later. Shortly thereafter, the Go-Gos lost their running back & went on a four-game slide. Fortunately, they had a Big 10 West schedule to help them pull out of that slide.

It was a 3 game slide, and not too embarrassing losing to PSU, less embarrassing than losing to UCLA. And Purdue almost beat PSU just a few weeks prior, they are a better team than most realize, far less embarrassing of a loss than losing to Arizona St. So that leaves UDub beating Oregon vs UMn losing to Illinois. So fine with you having Washington ranked ahead of the Gophers, but the Gophers haven't earned back their #21 ranking they held earlier in the year, so Washington having a better resume than UMn doesn't say much, sure doesn't say Top Ten. But this is America and so you have every right to believe the Huskies are Top Ten caliber. We'll just have to agree to disagree for now. I have a feeling that I'll be saying, "I told you so" come bowl game time. UW's going to get upset, I almost don't even have to know who their opponent is, because their last 2 opponents are Colorado and WSU, so they'll finish 11-2 and ranked Top 15 and unless they get paired up in a bowl game with some 8-5 team from the ACC for some reason, they will surely be outmatched. JMO of course.
