Jeez, Stewart can't catch a break to save his life this year. He hasn't been the same since he dumped Grubb after he won the title back in 2011. It should be him that goes off into retirement instead of Gordon (as much as I hate saying that) because he hasn't been the least bit competitive the past couple years while Gordon is at least running decent throughout every race more often than not. There's absolutely no chemistry with Stewart and this crew chief.

This has definitely been a race where once the leader gets out front he takes off but definitely overall, Truex has had the best car out there tonight.

It's too late to add more to my other Tony rant so I'll add it here. Right now, he's running so awful that I think that the 38 cars running ahead of him could wreck out of the race and he'd still find a way to lose. I almost swear that he thinks that the worse you run, the more points you'll end up getting.

I know he hasn't been exceptionally strong for a few years, but I think after that accident last year, his head is fucked up.

I honestly don't think he was fully healed from the leg surgery from a couple years ago to start last year. Even before that accident last Summer, I don't really remember him being anywhere close to the front all season. Still baffled that he didn't change his mind about Grubb with how well they clicked in that 2011 Chase and dominated it. Put that chemistry together for a full season and he would've been close to unbeatable.
