I have heard this about FIBA, I have only seen maybe half of an entire game across 3 games in my life.

I was actually worried they would fix it for Spain, for that reason I am rooting for France.

I guess all the jackass bitterness from Dragic is a moot point.

So much for him suggesting that Spain is the best team and runaway favorite to crush everyone.

Big upset day. France KO'd Spain and Serbia is playing out of its mind the last two games and managed to knock off a pretty good Brazil team. Really no reason for the US to not win gold now. So watch them lose to Lithuania tomorrow.

BORIS DIAW is so good when he wants to be...
He can dominate in so many different fashions at every position.

As a Spurs fan, I am happy Popovich is getting a lot out of him late in his career.
But, I am not sure there was a more wasted talent than Boris Diaw in recent memory.

He should have been a 18/7/7 guy competing for defensive player of the year, and a perennial allstar fixture. Instead, he wasted his talents with staggering personal laziness and bad outside circumstances.

It is nice to see him in his later years finally get it.
I wish Pop had gotten him at age 21 instead of 31.

He dominated Lebron and the Heat with his all around game.
He dominated Spain today with his all around game.

His career will always be a gigantic "what if".

that shooting display by spain was pretty funny 2-22 from 3 and not much better from 2

Every international competition is a battle for 2nd if the USA is invited.

Diaw ain't all that.

I was drunk but....

look at those rosters, USA wasn't invited :D

Also, Diaw is pretty damn good, he is a borderline allstar if you watch him play imo. He won't fill up the box score but he does those little things then surprises you with the ball...like the entire Spurs roster. Him possibly being an 18-7-7 guy isn't a stretch either.
