How do you think I felt when I lived 5 miles from the cutoff to get Padres games on local cable? I went a couple of seasons with only being able to see them at Petco or when the Dodgers played them. Then I got the MLB Extra Innings package and wouldn't live without it now. Best money in entertainment for me and my son.

I'm hopin my son shows a little more interest...he'll b 5 in July. If so...I'm in.

I was about 8 before I noticed baseball and baseball cards. I'm hoping the same for my kid, but he's only 2. I have a while. I remember going to games, but wouldn't sit and watch a game until I was a bit older.

I've always been very fortunate that my son is rabid about the sports and teams I am. We disagree on some stuff but never sports. He has a mind of his own but it seems like we're in total agreement when it comes to sports, teams and players.

When he is well, yeah. We start him towards bed at 6:15, in bed by 7 and takes about 20 minutes to fall asleep but he just lays there talking to Bert and Ernie or signing little songs he's learned. Goes nonstop until 5:45 when his alarm goes off, or later if we are lucky on weekend. Right now he's fighting an ear infection so not sleeping well.

Get round 2 of tubes next week and taking his adenoids out at the same time. HOpe that fixes it all.
