and have managed to lose ground on every team in the division in the moth of may....awesome

I think what Scallious was getting at was one of the things Heatwave being an idiot about was the unimportance of OBP, since the whole reason the Jays have moved up in offense was because of an improvement in OBP

Although it should be noted that the Jays numbers are largely just dependant on padding stats in games they're either blowing out or getting blown out in

Yesterday they put up 3 runs in the 7th with a 6-1 lead

A couple of days ago, they Jays put up 3 runs late down 10-3

They have a 113 and 110 OPS+ in medium and low leverage situations.... and a 79 OPS+ in high leverage

They're the quinessential stat padders

yeah.. dickey is a catastrophe. riiiight. so is jenkins. riiiiight. can't make these things up i tell ya.

Dickey sucks....would be the worst starter in the AL East if it weren't for some of his team mates being inexplicably worse...remember when all us stupid fans said he'd get throttled in the AL like he did his first go around?

Jenkins? 2 starts, 5 IP each time (Brilliant according to Dirt)...near 5 ERA as a 24 year old in AA last year...

Yeah...catastrophe is just about right....

Heat. Im not piling on ya

But that offense was always gonna come around, I never thought that pitching was capable

We'll see

not saying you are piling on. and you have a valid point and i don't deny they have sucked donkey balls. that much i don't deny. i said earlier in a post if they can pitch better the next few months ( and there's no way on earth do i think they are as bad as they have been) they are gonna be a problem. way too earlier to start counting teams out. just as you see the angels went on a 8 game run those are the type of runs that change the way a division looks.

You weren't misquoted. Did you attempt to change your wording after you realized what you said was both incredibly stupid and perfectly normal for you? Yes.

You asked "are you confident that the guys running the red sox franchise......."

Me "yes, they've done it before"

You "BWAHAHAHAH!!! Francona left dumbass!!!"

me: "retard"

If David Price gets right, the Rays are the one team
I think capable of creating a small distance in the east

not with that closer of theirs.

Wish I was as confident...really concerned that Krug and Barkowski get exposed in their own end this series.

NY didn't have the skill players to take advantage of them....Pitt does...if they continue to get very little out of the Bergeron line...it could get ugly...

It helps when you have one of the top 2 players in the league

And a pitching staff that is far better than the Jays, even without their ace
