The AL team with the most wins last year was 47-44 vs above 500 teams. I'm sure during the course of the year, there were times during the year where the Yankees record vs winning teams look like what the Red Sox does or worse..

If the Argument is. The Red Sox are not a Dominate nor truly the best? I agree. I think the Tigers and Ranger are better teams.. It wont persuade anyone thinking they are still a really good team though..

Red Sox are an enigma. They area 'wait-and-see' team. Don't really know what they can or can't do. They only have 3-4 guys left over from when they were true contenders. They look good now, but haven't really seen enough of them yet to know whether they can sustain it all year long or not.

Only one thing for sure is that jealous little pussies like Uno and Pete need to do whatever they can to discredit the RSox.

It will be interesting to see what kind adjustments the league makes to Buchholz his second time through the league or whether the cheating allegations will have an affect on his mental game.

Umm that's not exactly a good record...it only proves the point further...the variables may fluctuate, but their record against good teams continues to hover around .500

I didn't say they aren't a really good team (to this point)...only that they've beat up on the cupcakes and they won't continue to have the best record in baseball...especially with the corrections due for some of these starters soon

That's what I'm saying, the schedule talk is BS.That's been the discussion, no one has claimed the Sox are the best team. It's not going to get much harder despite your thinking it will. What they've done so far isn't much different than what usually happens as others have already pointed out...ie: Yanks were barely above .500 vs 'good' teams last year....They , like most winning teams, win most of the games they 'should' vs lesser opponents...It's freaking baseball man...
