Using that logic, I'll go with Dodgers/Yankees or Dodgers/A's.

I usually give a little love to the A's just because I'm a Bay Area native, but this year's crop of fans are especially grating. I've been to 4 Giants/Dodgers games this year and 2 Giants/A's and the A's fans were surprisingly far worse. Ideally, I think I want Pitt and Tampa to go. The Pirates don't have shit (plus I'm a Steelers fan so I can stomach another Pitt team winning something) and Tampa doesn't even realize they have a team so there will only be like 10k people talking shit.

no, my team is not to blame. it's just the idiots who get hired at $32k, they're constantly rotating in and out of here. i wish they just paid them an extra $10k to stick around a while longer so fewer rookie-mistakes are made.

Good. Than lets get a little anger going. While I don't hate the Sharks ( I lost all interest in hockey once it became uncommon for guys to lose teeth every night ), I hate Sharks home games.

Why?

Because the fuck up my commute!!!!! I can see the Tank ( it will never be SAP, or whatever, to me ) from my window as I type this, and, come game days, add another 10 minutes getting home.

I hear ya on that. However, in a completely different way, new people at work can be cute. They are all gung ho, energetic, and ready to please.

One word for ya then: Caltrain (or is that a compound word??). I work in Santa Clara and live in South San Jose so I see the nonsense every stupid day. Driving in on a Saturday? 15 minutes. Weekday between 7am-9am or 3pm-6pm? An hour.

I pumped the brakes on hockey last year due to the lockout and a longer baseball season I'm waiting until October-ish to see how I feel about it this year. And it will always be The Tank to me, too. I suppose I'll have to give up "HP" and "The Pavilion" eventually.

I get that... every time I'm downtown & there's an event, I'm screaming- ARE YOU NEW?! IS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME HERE?! Zero patience. That's why I don't drive in any more. I get a bit road ragey. I used to live in Morgan Hill & commute to Palo Alto. Nightmare. Every. Day.

My commute is a measly 8 miles each way. And, whenever possible, it is at 80 + m.p.h. That is how I clear my road rage. Flying low.

Indeed. But I'm old, so, that is what happens. Not many thugs at Valley Fair or Santana Row, that is to be sure. And, I like it that way.

BTW, can I say how odd it is to "get regional" with someone here? I see N.Y types talking about N.Y, and Bostonians about Boston all the time. But, never San Jose.
