Now that this has turned into a Sox board, do the Sox keep Bogaerts on the playoff roster? I think they should, as he backs up SS and 3B.

I don't see Bradley making it unless Ellsbury can't come back.

Too bad Tony already has ( at least ) 2 jobs, as I understand you need a new mayor there in San Diego....

If he were so inclined, it'd be a Reagan vs. Mondale landslide. The only other residents of San Diego who'd have a prayer against him would be the Hoffman brothers or Randy Jones.

Not sure if this was reported or not but

Ryan Dempster has now been moved to the bullpen for the rest of the season

And to answer the question about Victorino - I've been reading its not a hamstring right now but he is experiencing thumb soreness... though the hamstring is why he is not hitting from the left side

Sorry, we're all still a little scarred by a Colombian "woman" who hung out here for awhile.

I put a pic in my profile, but not as my avatar. Prejudgment being what it is & all. I expect for my opinions to be devalued on a sports-themed, testosterone heavy site just because I've got a set of XX chromosomes so I try not to call too much attention to it. If I keep my wits about me, maybe someday I'll change just one person's perception of women & sports and we'll have an equal say in the matter.

Just kidding. I don't give a shit what you guys think. I just don't want to be trolled by pervs. :laugh3:

Be prepared for PMs after they see your pic. Fortunately, the real pervs have moved on from this site and now run their own asylum. You're safe with us. :eyebrows:

"You can trust us."

I don't know anyone here. I came over from Disney just before it went all facebooky & stuff. I've really only ventured onto the Giants board and random threads here. I haven't gone onto the Steelers or Sharks boards... don't know if it's because I'm intimidated or if I'm still too invested in baseball.

The only thing better than a Giants/Yankees series is Giants/Angels for me. Someone has to lose every game. :D

Using that logic, I'll go with Dodgers/Yankees or Dodgers/A's.

I usually give a little love to the A's just because I'm a Bay Area native, but this year's crop of fans are especially grating. I've been to 4 Giants/Dodgers games this year and 2 Giants/A's and the A's fans were surprisingly far worse. Ideally, I think I want Pitt and Tampa to go. The Pirates don't have shit (plus I'm a Steelers fan so I can stomach another Pitt team winning something) and Tampa doesn't even realize they have a team so there will only be like 10k people talking shit.

I dislike the Rays even more than the Yankees.

Something tells me someone is going to get rocked and it could actually be Timmy or CC. I just put $25 vCash on the Giants to win, no points.

Earlier this week, an eagle-eyed fan spotted former outfielder Dave Parker at a Cincinnati grocery store...decked out in full Pittsburgh Pirates gear. And I've gotta add, "The Cobra" is looking every bit as good as he did during his eleven-year stint with the Bucs. But, is it acceptable for a 62-year-old man to walk around, behind enemy lines, wearing a personalized jersey.

What if that personalized jersey is one from the team that, in 1978, you won an MVP award for and a year later, a World Series?

Parker, who actually does reside in the Cincinnati area, revealed in August that he's been battling Parkinson's since February 2012, but if you look at the picture of him shopping for groceries...dude's looking alright.
