The Sox have been scuffling for a while especially with the bats, but now that Cleveland has thrown in the towel it hardly matters. As long as they get healthy and pick up momentum heading into the playoffsWhat the hell us up with our lineup today?

Meh, it's not great but it's still July and even bad teams win a few.Just hate to throw away another series especially to this team

Gonna kinda agree with both of you. At this stage of the season, we really shouldn't be losing any series to a sub .500 ballclub. Then again, the Royals, despite their record, never seem to be pushovers against us and as msgkings said, it's early and bad teams do win series every now and then. So long as we don't make a habit of this, I think we're ok.Meh, it's not great but it's still July and even bad teams win a few.
Atrocious series for the White Sox.
Come on man - @idseer @Lake Shore Drive and I can't remember our 8th grade year. What happened in the locker room?Hendriks blew our split of respectability. I think they should pull the 8th grade trick on him in the locker room.

EntertainingI don't actually know what it's called...but I always called it the 8th grade trick.
It's where you have a buddy get on their hands and their knees behind the unsuspecting victim's legs (in this case Hendriks) and then you push said victim over them.
Entertaining
My Denver Broncos won a few Super Bowls blocking like that on the Oline. In 8th grade...Now you do it to somebody and they're on Oprah telling their sob...STORY (HA! I DID IT AGAIN!!! I KILL ME!) getting a new car.
Fleeced? I'd say at most a little, if at all and it would only be long term. In the short run, the Jays made out like bandits. Yes, the Twins received two very high end prospects (the Jays #2 & #4), but remember, they're just prospects, not proven yet. And the Jays in return get an arguably top 15-20 dependable workhorse for a season and a half. I sure as hell won't miss him, altho we'll probably face him in our remaining 4 game series against the Jays. When you add it all up, to me this is not even close to being considered a fleece.Good God the Twins fleeced the Blue Jays for Berrios
Most trades are actually win win, because the teams have different goals. Fans say 'oh man we gave up a guy who's gonna be a stud in 3 years'. Well, first of all it's hardly ever a sure thing. And even if they do...the team that traded the prospects isn't trying to win in 3 years.Fleeced? I'd say at most a little, if at all and it would only be long term. Berrios has a career ERA over 4. I don’t view him as anything special.Fleeced? I'd say at most a little, if at all and it would only be long term. In the short run, the Jays made out like bandits. Some of that ERA stems from his first season with the Twinkies, when he went 3-7 and his ERA was a whopping 8.02. Since then he's been sub-.400 every year except the shortened '20 season and even then he was only 4.00, hardly a terrible number. He's lifetime to date 55-43 (52-36 since season one), with a career WAR of 9.1 - all this while still in his age 27 season. Besides, I always admire a pitcher who takes the mound when it's his turn to pitch, then gives his team at least a better than average chance to win. Now you may think those are so-so numbers, but to me, I'm seeing a talented, reliable starting pitcher, and those don't come in bunches these days.Berrios has a career ERA over 4.
