If the NFL upholds the Cedric Benson suspension, the decision may take another week. Benson should be able to play Sunday.

Yeah, the NFL usually announces suspensions on Tuesday to allow teams to adjust their game plans accordingly.

Though, I think Benson has a really good shot of getting out of this one. Not only is he going to go against Goodell's decision, but he's calling out the NFLPA for bad-faith barganing for a player who wasn't under contract at the time they were locked out. Also, sounds like the National Labor board is keeping an eye on this, as if Benson was "sold" out to Goodell as part of the barganing process the NFLPA could be in serious trouble as a union.
