The games start to early and the weather has been too damn nice. By the time I get inside it is the middle of the third period. Add into that the fact that I got a new dog, and I have seen all of like 4o minutes of the finals. They look exciting as hell too!! I need to figure out this whole DVR thing...
Anyway,
The Caps are not negotiating with Corvo (no shock), Walker (kind of a shock) or Theodore (two kids in net....sounds like a plan) but are working on a multi-year deal with Eric "Fehr and balanced".

They are also working on a 3 or 4 year deal with Eric Belanger ( I like this, give us two of the top faceoff men in the lague) but Montreal is another destination of interest for him. At least, that is what my limited French tells me.

They also, apparently, have no interest in Volchenkov, riiiiiiighhhhhhht. I actually am concerned about the salary he will demand and do not really want the Caps to pursue him. No offense to him but he has Derrick Morris and Wade Redden written all over him, in my opinion.
