Someone New?

Whats the rules on inviting someone new to the board? I know the place started as mostly invite only but I have a friend I talk hockey with and I was wondering if it would be ok for me to float a link to the board to him. If it helps he never posted at the swamp.

Don't see how it would be a problem.the main reason we all used private invites was to keep a select few trolls out.as far as inviting your friend I say the more the merrier

I'd actually prefer to get more people to these boards. The whole "lets not invite this guy since I don't agree with him" concept sucks. I want more people to disagree with.

Just don't bring in people that will post the same topic each day over a stretch of 4 weeks.

My opinion probably doesn't matter. RKO was on the ball from the day the team forums went up. Its basically his forum.
