I love the idea of Gregory or Ray at 5. Again pass rushers are way harder to find than RTs. I actually prefer Ray.

I like Scherff. I just want those book end tackles. I'm just ready to fix that once and for all. Take a look at Scherff's highlights, there is one play where he literally locks up Gregory and walks him across the field like a child.

Must admit Gregory and Ray look dynamic. Who really knows? Scherff could be the next Robert Gallery and Gregory and Ray could be the next Aaron Maybin.

a lot of that has to do with how well our coaches develop players

We all understand that any one of these players can bust. And nobody wants a better OL than I do, the last of the Griffin supporters. But sorry, reaching to fill a need at RT with this many holes is just stupid. And again pass rushers are much much harder to find than RTs. And by every report I've seen Scherff's a solid but unspectacular prospect. You need to do better than that with the 5th pick.

The guy has speed and when he played off the LOS was when I thought he looked the best at Nebraska. He needs to add weight and strength to play against the run and I thought at times if his 1st move didn't work, he kinda gave up on trying to get after the QB.

This is kind of how I see him too. He just looks too light to me to be an every down pass rusher

now for gregory , he looks like an athlete but where do we play him ? OLB ? ILB ? the guy is 6-5 245LBS and he looks like he can cover i see 3-4 ILB in him but he is so thin

Appreciate that skinsdad. Gregory would probably pack on about 10 pounds and play opposite Kerrigan. I think I like Ray more than Gregory. Ray comes off the line like a freakin bullet.

I highly doubt either of these 2 pass rushers will be there at Cleveland's pick at 12. That's why I want to get one of them when we have the chance.

I expect Kiper to change that pick. Scot has said he prefers big guys, especially for the late season bad weather games.

What does this say about the perception of Murphy that people think we would even go the olb route. 2nd round pick that many say we could have gotten in the end 3rd or 4th easily.

It's very possible. There is more than enough talent to get a major weapon at #5.

i remember a few years ago that no one thought Rak would fall to us at 13 . he did and we grabbed him

williams is a no brainer and forget the trade down foolishness if it happened
