I liked getting rid of Poe. He just not a factor. Let's see if these young guys can play. The other issue is Crawford is just not good anymore. I also said for years that Jourdan Lewis should be playing as a safety. He would be way better than thompson.. move Lewis out of slot to safety.

If Jerry were to trade Gallup it would be a clear indicator that he’s either lost his mind (can’t dismiss the possibility) or he’s in a “Blow It Up” mode. Gallup is cost certainty + talent. You don’t get rid of that unless you are either the Texans or rebuilding.
Gallup is 3rd string and the Cowboys would relish a 3rd round pick for him.

I think you mean #3 not 3rd string. For us #3 at WR is a starter. 3rd string is not active on game day or running around on the PS. Gallup is really good and if the plan is to unload Cooper at some point then you need to keep Gallup. I've probably been higher than most on Gallup since the day he got here so that could cloud my judgement but I think he is even better than we are seeing. He doesn't get a ton of balls thrown his way but still makes some huge plays for us and is able to come down with those 50/50 balls. Now if the team has already decided they aren't getting rid of Cooper (which certainly would be a Jerry move to already decide that) then trading Gallup for a 2nd might make some sense since it would still leave us with two other top WRs and in theory that move could be used on defense. If they trade Gallup I'd more prefer it be for a player that I know is going to be good. This team and 2nd round draft picks makes me nervous.

Just sad times for Cowboy fans. I hate myself, but I can never give up being a fan. I have to look at this year as a throw away or I will go nuts lol Regroup in offseason. No expectations for any game this year.

I remember the early 90's when this team was dominating the NFL. How times have changed.

Those early 90s teams had a top 5 defense, top 10 offense and great special teams.they also had great depth. Given this I dont know that they win those superbowls if let's say Tuenei,Newton,Stepnoski and Erik William's were all out injured at the same time. Certainly not trying to compare because the defense right now sucks and so does special teams.

This was a top 3 offense Before Dak ,Jarwin and all those lineman got hurt. It is impossible to have the depth to withstand this many injuries in the salary cap era.

I survived the late 80’s teams where they just got old and the draft picks sucked. I suppose I’ll deal with this. It’s just sad as hell that we can pinpoint the exact moment where it all went awry.

March 28, 1994.

I would say after the superbowl in 1996.

Maybe we can make another big trade with Minnesota like in 1989.

I will never forget that day. Jerry killed the dynasty that day. The team that won the 96 Superbowl was only a shell of its former self. They almost lost that superbowl. Thank God Odonnel sucked

I wonder what they see in Steele?
Or are we just out of OTs?

IDK. It like they want to lose. Steele is a turnstile. How this guy is starting is beyond my comprehension. Would have been better off to move Martin to RT and at least give your QB chance. Steele is getting worse, not better
