I'll agree Jerry screwed the pooch in his "All In" BS, but does anyone believe Barkley or Henry would put up those numbers behind this OL.

RB is a major major problem here but it's far from the only issue.

Yes, pretty darn close. The Giants OL the last couple of years was worse than ours and Barkley was banged up.
Totally agree on the other issues. The thing with RB was it was cheapish to actual fix this off season. The others are not.

It's been said before. Henry 2 years $16M. His 2024 cap hit is $5M. Zeke's is $2M. So $3M more. Even if you want to use his AAV of $8M it's only $6M more.

All kidding aside, I agree. What is Jerry supposed to say when asked that about his current HC? Now if he actually does extend him that would be just the height of incompetence and arrogance...but, saying he might when asked is just how it works and expected unless you do the real right thing which is just say something like "we will evaluate everyone and everything at year end and go from there" type of answer.

Jeanty is the next great back to come to the NFL is my prediction. I think Jeanty will be a top 10 pick.

I think some are misunderstanding what I'm saying. I'm in no way excusing Jerry for not going after a Henry or Barkley, I 100% think he should have especially after the All In comment and Henry saying he'd give Dallas a discount.
My point is I just don't see the team being much different had we got one of them.

This is my view of the team today not last June.

Zeke though never had the type of elusiveness that Jeanty has. The possible negative here is Jeanty has carried the ball a ton in college Jeanty would really help the offense is all I know. He would take advantage of those holes I see Beebe creating in the middle.

I think teams are watching the Eagles and Ravens closely. Running backs could be valued more highly because of this. The Cowboys could end up picking outside the top 10. They could miss out. I don't think it a coincidence the defense played better Sunday after getting back Bland and Parsons. Getting Bland back was huge for the defense.

Very true. Steele regressed. I don't view him as a top five lineman on this team anymore. They paying Steele way too much and he will be asked to take a pay cut and if he doesn't they will cut him.

Different kids, but same caliber which is bell cow back on day one. He would help maximize Dak's next four years

I don't doubt this at all. Jerry is stupid enough to write this season off to injuries. While this team could sign Parsons and still have $100M in cap space if they so chose, Jerry and Stephen will likely pretend signing Parsons has left them too up against the cap to spend(and save themselves $80M cash by not moving money around), and roll out the same roster, minus probably Steele, Martin, Tank, Osa and Cooks and only add a draft and junkpile FA's. In which case we go around 5-12 and Mac gets fired and Jerry says all in...and hires some retread like Rex Ryan or Marvin Lewis

This guy did more in one game than Bossman Fat did the entire time he was here.

He looks like a useful player.

I also like how he is able to look back and get himself in position the make a play on the ball. Carson is not able to do this so far.

Compete each play shouldn't be that big of ask, but it is in today's pro sports world.

He’ll be the #4 at best when all are healthy but I don’t think Diggs plays this week. But if the team plays it right and plays 4 CBs and one safety in obvious passing downs or at least in some situations he’ll get some snaps. Plus one of the top 3 is likely to miss some time here and there. He’ll get a chance to keep proving himself. Crazy to say with all the players who get the media blitz on this team, but I think Lewis may be the heart of the defense at this point. He’s kind of a little bad ass.
