sure we have good players on offense.
but we still improved when he took over. Then got better the next year.
I don't think we improved when he took over. Same shit as when garrett coached. Field goals in the red zone. He gets in the red zone and then he calls stupid Plays.

I'm still of the opinion that players make plays and execution is required. Coaching is more important in the days leading up to the game.
Professional still reside on both sidelines.

Moore I think has done a good job. An argument can be made that in 2015 they had far fewer injuries than the 2020 Cowboys. That 2015 team got their asses kicked, although that was more Garrett . I do agree that the red zone play calling has been sketchy

We could lose both coordinators. Jerry could make Moore an offer he cant refuse. Money talks. At least Moore has had a high ranked offense and Dak improved greatly when Vanillahan was replaced with Moore. The DC though has a history of having terrible defenses. He can go bye bye

Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst claimed Damon "Snacks" Harrison off waivers on Wednesday, according to the NFL transaction wire.

The Packers did not announce the move.

The Seahawks waived the 32-year-old defensive tackle on Monday after Harrison requested his release. All players waived at this point in the season are subject to waivers, and Harrison said in a tweet after his release that he was not interested in getting claimed. However, in response to a tweet that suggested he might actually play for the Packers given that they're a Super Bowl team and one that was on his list of teams he planned to meet with before he signed with Seattle earlier this season, Harrison responded with a one-word tweet that read: "Bingo."

A source told ESPN that Harrison assured the Packers he would report to and play for Green Bay.

Can you imagine what Snacks woulda done playing on this Dallas defense?
This guy being motivated to play is on a day to day basis.
Still say No Thanks to that

Off topic, Hufanga, safety out of USC, enters the draft. Hope he is on our radar.

Nothing is off topic in the miscellaneous stuff thread.

wonder if this guy could last to the 2nd or even the 3rd round. Then again, someone may need to remind jerry that he had top safety play during the glory hole years

Good question. The 25+ year-old question.

I hope so as well. I got Hufanga added to my list of safeties. We need to draft a good FS. I like Wilson. He makes plays on the ball. Woods seemed to hit a wall and never developed. I just happen to value safety more than the Jones

Paris Ford and Andre Cisco I like.

Ford would bring some serious attitude and borderline arrogance to the secondary. . He is not big, but very fast. He can also hit. His play speed is very good. I would imagine he will have a good 40 time at the combine.

Cisco is always around the ball and has great ball skills.

This Ford guy sounds like someone the Cowboys would be interested in. The whole reason Heath lasted so long on our team was because of his hustle. So Ford can hit, but can he tackle? Also what round do you see him being drafted in?

I like both. Ford seems faster, but both are ball hawks and hitters. The only thing is, the ACC is not that great.

I am seeing both mocked in the 2nd-3rd round area.. although I have noticed both have been mocked in the late 1st round. So it is possible both go in the 2nd round.

I think Ford can tackle and hit. He is not afraid of contact. I hope we get a starting safety to pair with Wilson.

I would be happy with any of those three safety's

Obviously would love a ball hawk (since we havent had one in forever) but whoever we get at Safety has to be a solid tackler. In fact any defensive player needs to be a tackler. If not we should pass on them.
I could see us pulling a trigger on a 2nd round safety.
For whatever reason. I dont see the cowboys using a 1st on one. Maybe the Roy Williams thing gives them pause :noidea:
but a speedy guy that can tackle & it doesnt cost a 1st. I could see the Cowboys going there.

heck...I'd be happy with a safety that made more plays than he gives up.
I don't think the Jones boys will address LB early and this defense has little chance of getting better with the LB & safety play we've been watching

CB in round one and safety in round two is darn near a must

As we all know Tyeek Hill is the fastest player in the NFL, anyone care what previous NFLers were faster?

You have to think that if he had much with the defense in Seattle needing all the help they can get he would still be there.

I’m with you. No thanks.
