best players available at that point.

Makes it easier!

We could draft Dre Kirkpatrick CB with the second first rounder, possibly. The first round also has a good deal of LB prospects.

some drafts have us drafting a rb like Chris Polk in the second. (well, at least one mock does)

Richardson will be a top 12 pick. Neither pick will be above that. Just look at the mock drafts. And in 2010 there was 1 RB in the top 10, 2 in the top 12. 2009 1 in the top 12. 2008 1 in the top 5 and 2 in the top 13. 2007 1 in the top 10, 2 in the top 12. 2006 1 in the top 5. 2005 3 in the top 5. So in the last 7 years there have been 7 picked in the top 10 and 10 picked in the top 12, then one at 13. So to say they are rarely picked in the top 10 is a lie. I said he will go top 12, which he likely will barring some injury. We won't have a pick that high, too many really bad teams.

He shouldn't be, but RB's aren't as valued as in the past. A good player like Richardson may slip to us.

I don't get where people are seeing this. Every year besides last year (and Ingrim would have been without the injury concerns) there has been 1 RB picked really high. Richardson is that RB this year.

Stand corrected....But Richardson wont be the only good back in the draft either...If he is there go for it..if not then we im confident Jim anderson will help us find a good back.....

I say we go like this.

1a. Kelechi Osemele, OT/G, Iowa State
1b. Lamar Miller, RB, Miami (this kid can do everything. Look up some highlights)
2. Robert Lester, S, Alabama
3. Sean Spence, OLB, Miami
4. Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama

Those are my first 4 rounds so far.

I'll concede that one. Plenty of good RB's available later though. I'm with you on Lamar Miller. Next in a long line of great Miami RB's

Best available. Regardless of position. RB's and OL are always found throughout the draft. We can fill need with value. No need to reach.

I LOVE me some richardson but Miller is vastly underrated. He's flying under the radar at Miami. Really good all round back that would be a good WCO fit (good catching that ball out of the backfield).

I say RB, OG, S with our first 3 picks, I don't care the order. Then an OLB and a CB in the 3rd and 4th. Then grab a DT, another OL and I say grab Jeff Demps if he is there in the 7th. With all that speen make him our return man and just have him run a few screens.

I agree on best available RB, S, OL. I also wouldn't mind another stud pass rusher. As far as RB goes I'm hop on the Lamar Miller bandwagon as well. Always forget about him cause Miami hasn't been very good lately. Reminds me alot of Edgerrin James
