That could happen.
Seattle has been great at second half adjustments the last 2 years. Look at last weeks game. Seattle down 10-3 at the half. Great adjustments in the second half.
It very well could be 20-10 at the half. I could see a 27 23 Seattle victory. Not a shock to this old Seahawk fan.

 .....iswydt.....nice try, but no.

As Mike Perreira explained...

Don't recall that dude doing anything but agreeing with calls. Not that I think Welker was trying to take Talib out.

I'm going to go ahead and root for the losing team this year. Seattle would appreciate the win more than Denver AND they got so thoroughly jobbed by the zebras in their last SB. I just don't think they have as complete of a team but we'll see.

Just so some of you Seattle fans understand about the idea of Seattle coming back in this one like they have been. The Broncos have been the best 2nd half team in football this season in scoring. Now having said that I realize Seattle is the best 2nd half defense so looks like once again we have a strength on strength here between these two teams.

Seattle needs to just send everyone 6 out of the first 9 downs. If they don't get to Peyton early ..it's all over. The need to rough him up early ..and shorten his clock ..otherwise Disaster.

Agreed. I also think what the Broncos run D does against Marshawn Lynch is also one of the primary keys to the game.

I have the same question...Manning is the only Bronco right now that has a Super Bowl Ring so not sure why Seattle wants it more. Throw in Bronco fans have been some of the best for the last 30 years in the league so pretty sure every one of us wants it and wants it bad.

Broncos have SB rings, Seattle does not. Did that really need clarification?

It will take a very sharp Wilson for the Hawks to pull off the win.

Former Broncos players have rings. This batch of Broncos does not. The team has Lombardi Trophies, but the rings are individual awards. On that note, your hypothesis is a non-starter. Every individual player in both locker rooms wants this. The win will be just as satisfying to one team as it will to the other.

The rings the Broncos have mean nothing to the players on the squad now.

And yeah, Wilson is going to have to have a great game. The Broncos know that Lynch is the strength of their offense and are going to take that away, leaving Wilson with some one on one coverages. If he can hit them the Seahawks can win. If he can't, they wont.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Manning the only Bronco with a ring? Surely you're not suggesting that any player on the Seahawks wants a ring worse than say, Champ Bailey?

It's not like the Broncos won the Super Bowl last season. Just because the Broncos won the Super Bowl 15 years ago doesn't mean the players on this team are content.

You guys will fucking argue ANYTHING.

Surely you're not suggesting that any player on the Seahawks wants a ring worse...

No, I'm not suggesting that and that's not what I said. If Seattle had multiple SB trophies and Denver had only sniffed one, I would claim it more appreciated by the city of Denver. I was not referring to the players themselves.

You can't blame us for the mix up. You simply said, "Denver". This could have referred to either the city or the players themselves.

If you were talking about the city of Denver, then yes - I agree.

You said, and I quote, "Broncos have SB rings, Seattle does not." Now how are we supposed to infer from that you're talking about the city of Denver and not the players?

It's not that we're arguing anything, it's that your statement wasn't remotely clear and that's why MULTIPLE posters called you out on it.

You want to be more clear, you could start by actually using the quote button like every other single poster.

Now I know NEHomer will say that we just like to argue anything but to say one city wants it more than another is just crazy talk. Denver has one of the longest sold out streaks in the NFL at this point. In fact they have the 3rd longest streak in the NFL and 9th longest streak of all the major sports. Denver is a football town and has been for 40 years. No other sport in Denver gets the attention that the Broncos do. Don't know if you can say the same about Seattle.

Heck I lived in Seattle for the past 3 years. Before the last 2 seasons Soccer was more popular in Seattle than the Seahawks. I hardly ever heard anybody around town talking about the Seahawks. Now the Broncos on the other hand even when they were 4-12 a few years ago the talk was all about how can we get the Broncos back to the top?

I see his point, and he's right.

If he's talking about the cities, then a SB championship would mean more to Seattle since they don't have any and Denver already has 2.

Remember how much that first one meant to you Denver fans?
